From 2003 to 2013, Carlos was immersed in the insulation industry, engaging in a wide range of residential and commercial projects. His journey continued as he delved into energy conservation initiatives, broadening his expertise and impact. In 2014, driven by a vision that surpassed his experiences, Carlos embarked on a new chapter by founding his own company.

"We used Carlos in 2019 to install insulation over our garage to reduce summertime heat. The project was very successful and brought temps down 10-15 degrees. In early 2024 we used him again to R30 install mineral wool over our media room and adjacent walls to soundproof. His crew was on time, professional, and cleaned up before they left. "We had our old (1965) attic insulation removed (including some asbestos) and replaced all the ducts and vents and added new insulation on a 1600 sq ft house in Davis by Carlos Insulation. The total project was $13,000. It was all done quickly and efficiently. They put a plastic shield up to keep the particulates from getting into the rest of the house. All the workers were good to work with and cleaned up their workspace very well. We are noticing a very significant improvement in the efficiency of our air conditioning."
